As we worked to create this document we assumed that there would be an easy graphic that would lay out all the products Google Suites offered. I wish it was that easy. Our group found it incredible hard to find something that put everything together in one document. Here is the link to a great page that pulls all the tools available through Google Suites in one place. I have to give credit to Sandor for finding this!
Each member of our group is focused on one block. For example I am working on Block 1 (Google email, Google Hangout & Chat, Google Drive, and Google Science Fair). For each tool I created an explorative assignment or experience that allowed the educator to walk through the basics of the resource. For example for Google drive I will have educators watch an intro video.
This video is located on Youtube and walks you through the very basics of what and how Google Drive works.
Then educators would read the Google Drive doc, another document explaining how Google Drive works. Next educators would need to navigate to their Google Drive. One there they would need to explore all features available to them. In this first block they won't be expected to create a google doc, slide, sheet or form that will all be discussed later.
For this exploration i want educators to explore the options available including where to find files that were "shared with me" and be able to create a new folder in their drive, to name few.
